❤️HER NAME IS HALEY ALLISON!❤️
He was supposed to serve 25 years, without any chance of parole, after strangling and stabbing Haley Elizabeth Maureen Allison to death, then torching her body.
But they’ve just let him out – 10 years early. And they never told her family.
Haley was murdered by her former partner on December 18, 2009. She was 26.
On December 18, 2024 – 15 years to the day of Haley’s death – Jason Michael Spina applied for parole.
He was released weeks ago.
“He was supposed to do 25 years,” her mum Shelley says.
“They let him out, and they didn’t even tell us.
“I felt sick in the guts.
“It’s the worst I have felt since he killed her.”
Haley was raised in Deception Bay. Her parents adored her. Her brother worshipped her. She was best friends with her aunt.
“As a baby, she was so easy to bring up,” Shelley says.
“She was my first child. She didn’t even cry. She was serene and very quiet.”
A gentle and generous girl, Haley was everyone’s best mate.
On her trips overseas, she would give her travel money to children in need and poor workers.
Her killer took advantage of Haley’s kindness.
He was manipulative and violent. She tried to leave many times, but lured her back.
“I think she knew what was coming and she was trying to protect us,” he mum says.
His cruelty to animals was the final straw for Haley.
In the hours before she died, he lurked up the road, waiting for her parents to go.
Shelley’s last words to her daughter were: “I love ya”.
After killing Haley, he calmly showered.
Police told her parents they were responsible for cleaning the crime scene.
“My husband wakes up to the smell of burning flesh,” Shelley says.
“He is broken. The only time he has cried was when our children were born and when Haley was killed.
‘My son can’t say his sister’s name.
“I miss everything about her.”
