❤️HER NAME IS: PRABHA ARUN KUMAR!❤️
He spoke to her on the phone as the person he’s suspected of hiring murdered her.
Her name is Prabha Arun Kumar. She died in hospital on March 8, 2015, after she was attacked in Parramatta Park, NSW. Prabha was 41 years old.
Someone stabbed Prabha as she was speaking to her husband on the phone. Her murder remains unsolved and police say her husband is the key suspect.
Arun Kumar was having an affair when Prabha passed away. He told police he heard the attack. He deleted his call history and WhatsApp messages as he prepared to board a plane to Sydney from India following Prabha’s death.
Kumar gained $631,000 in the wake of Prabha’s murder, including her superannuation. He has not been charged. He refused to give evidence at her inquest.
The coroner ruled last week that Prabha was murdered in a targeted attack.
Detective Superintendent Joe Doueihi told a press conference police: “I cannot see this investigation progressing without the assistance of the public, it is absolutely essential.”
CCTV footage shows Prabha walking through Sydney on the night she was stabbed.
After Prabha’s death, people gathered to mourn her and to remember the life she lived and the lives she touched.
She was a mum and an engineer, well respected and very much loved.
“She was a beautiful person, the bravest woman in our family,” her nephew Thrijesh Jayachandra says.
“She only dreamt about her daughter, never about herself.”
