Police officer and proud mum Katie Saunders died by suicide three years ago.
As her partner and fellow police officer, Stephen Calcutt, hugged her daughters at her funeral, he was preparing to abuse them.
Katie ended her own life after the cop tormented her and tried to ruin her career as she moved toward ending their relationship and exposing his predatory behaviour, including accessing child sex abuse material online.
Katie confronted him about his behaviour and she suffered a severe mental health breakdown.

Her superiors at Queensland Police refused to investigate the allegations and he was allowed to continue his predatory ways and to keep his job.
Her daughters were almost 16 when she died and within weeks,
Calcutt was targeting them – doing inappropriate things like massaging and sharing a bed with one of them and installing spy cameras.
When police searched the home, they found child exploitation material and multiple videos of the girls.
Calcutt pleaded guilty to three charges of recording in breach of privacy and two of possessing child exploitation material.
The sexual assault charge was dropped.
He has just been sentenced to one year in prison, suspended after serving three months.
A coroner’s inquest into Katie’s death has not yet been held.
