❤️HER NAME IS: ANNETTE BRENNAN!❤️

In the end, her killer didn’t have the guts to face the people who loved and respected her.
Her name is Annette Brennan. She was killed by her male housemate in Coolaroo on July 2, 2024. She was only 67.
Despite Stephen Fleming killing her and then going to great lengths to cover up his brutality – including trying to implicate a neighbour, throwing her in a bin so she would end up at the tip, lying to undercover cops and erasing his DNA – he scored himself a cosy little plea deal.
He was charged with murder, but pleaded guilty to manslaughter after the Victorian prosecutor decided this was all Annette was worth.
Fleming will be sentenced in four weeks and is likely to exit prison in less than 10 years because of the plea deal.

When he was required to face the people who loved Annette during the sentencing hearing, he refused to go to the court.
Annette was the 48th of 105 Australian women killed last year.
Annette was on the verge of starting a new job, she’d just moved into a new home and taken on Fleming as a boarder to help make ends meet.
Shortly after he moved in she became concerned about the man who refused to pay the rent, stole her property and tried to get her evicted.
“I don’t like him, I want him out,” she told her friends.
Nan Austin said she was a highly educated, kind and generous teacher who was “committed to her students”.
“She was a very caring, much-loved woman who contributed to her community and society as a teacher,” Nan said.
Another friend, Sally Jamieson, said: “Annette’s death has left a hole in my life.”
