The inaugural One Spirit One Heart national healing circle for women and girls impacted by violence was held in Brisbane on October 25.
One Spirit One Heart is the dream of Aunty Tanya Keed of Yhurwun Bullan/Clybucca Dreaming.
Sadly, we had to cancel the Canberra event due to circumstances well beyond our control.
In Brisbane, coordinators Freya and Affi pulled together an incredible event where women’s voices were centered and stories of survival and moving forward were shared.
Aunty Tanya and I hope to grow this little project and we aim to hold a healing circle across every state soon.
