Matthew James Gardiner was bailed despite multiple AVO breaches, bail breaches and allegations he assaulted someone.
He was arrested following another alleged DV incident.
Police arrested the 42-year-old on Tuesday. Three months earlier, he was charged with 12 counts of contravene an AVO, relating to incidents from August to October 2025.
A Wollongong magistrate said he ‘showed a lack of restraint’ and the prosecutor said he was an ‘unacceptable risk’. Needless to say, the magistrate bailed him – AGAIN!!!!
Meanwhile, the alleged offender blamed his violent actions on the person he abused. The NSW Government told News.com.au they could not comment on the case!
