❤️HER NAME IS AMY BOWDEN!❤️

On February 9, Her mum Michelle marked exactly two years since the darkest days began – 24 months since a selfish man’s sliding door moment erased her daughter’s life.
Her name is Amy Bowden. Amy died following an incident at her home in Redwood Park, South Australia, on February 8, 2024. She was only 26.
We lost 106 women in 2024 – Amy’s death was the 104th I documented for that year. My research shows 190 women have been killed since January 1, 2024.

Officially, Amy’s partner Ethan Lenny George Ross injected her with methamphetamine in an attempt to reverse a heroin overdose.
Ross did not call an ambulance. Had he dialed 000, she would most likely be alive.
Ross was not charged with causing Amy’s death but he was convicted for not getting her help.

He was sentenced to nine months and – due to time served – will be eligible for release on May 3. Amy’s mum Michelle is hopeful the Department of Prosecutions will consider a charge of manslaughter.
“Ethan had ample time to call 000 or even an Uber, but instead he chose to be a backyard doctor, as our daughter lay at his mercy,” Michelle says.
“Amy was a vibrant, kind and loving young woman who had a beautiful spirit. She made everyone she cared for feel welcomed and loved. She was a light in our lives.
“Amy will not only be remembered for how she died, she will be remembered for how she lived, with kindness, compassion and love.
Michelle is lobbying the South Australian Government to make failing to call 000 a criminal offence – not an administrative offence. This would mean tougher sentencing outcomes.
“This is how we will honour Amy. This is her legacy,” Michelle says.
AMY BOWDEN MATTERS!❤️
