Elon Musk is allowing men to produce sexualised images of women and children on his X platform.
Men spent the past week producing sexualised images of women and children on X, using prompts on Musk’s chatbot Grok. Users write ‘put her in a bikini’ under a photo.
Thousands of sexualized, nonconsensual AI-altered versions of images have been produced in recent days, in some cases removing all of people’s clothing without their consent.
Musk appears to be encouraging men to do this by posting so-called ‘funny’ images of things in bikinis- an obvious attempt to legitimise the widespread de-dignifying of women and girls.

Musk shared an AI photo of himself in a bikini, captioned with cry-laughing emojis. Grok’s generation of sexualized images shows a lack of safety triggers, resulting in children also being sexualised.
One X user wrote: ‘Men who are into non-consensual content are predators. They are abusers. They want to … undress women because it silences them and makes them afraid.’
There’s no doubt this is sexual harassment and the production of sexual exploitation material.
However, authorities seem to not be doing anything about it.
xAI said ‘Legacy Media Lies’ when it was contacted about the abuse of women and children on the X platform. Not surprising given Grok often posts misinformation to inflame people!
Meanwhile, Grok provided a response on X saying it was a mistake for two children in sexualised attire to be shown.
