Kate Whiteman’s bravery in exposing two powerful, rich and violent men – millionaire twins Alon and Oren Alexander – saw at least 17 women come forward about their experiences of rape and abuse at their hands. But Kate will never see these men held to account.
The Australian woman passed away near Sydney late last year. The NSW Coroner’s Office has concluded her death is not suspicious. It is believed Kate is deemed to have died by suicide. We are only learning now of her death.
In March of 2024, Kate accused the brothers of raping her in 2012 at a mansion in America. The brothers are due to go to trial on criminal charges this month and face a raft of civil suits. A third brother is also involved.

It is alleged the brothers arranged for sexual assaults in advance, luring women with luxury experiences, travel and accommodation. The women were raped and assaulted, often by multiple men, including one or more of the Alexander brothers, according to the indictment.
In the wake of Kate coming forward, the Daily Mail ran an article with headlines, story angles and photos designed to slut-shame, victim-blame and demean Kate.
Today, media are running the sexualised photos of Kate originally published by the Daily Mail. Kate’s family has not released a statement.
