The man who massacred two women, an unborn baby and a man in NSW yesterday has a long history of violence and was facing charges related to his alleged abuse of the young mum-to-be who died at Lake Cargelligo.
Julian Ingram – also known as Julian Pierpoint – is wanted for murder after allegedly murdering Sophie Isabelle Quinn, Sophie’s unborn baby, her aunt Nerida Quinn and her friend John Harris.
Given his long history of violence, current charges and an AVO, questions need to be asked about why he was able to have access to guns – and why police gave him bail.

Sophie was granted an apprehended domestic violence order in December. Police granted Ingram bail on November 30 for domestic violence-related charges.
He pleaded not guilty to stalking and harassment with the intention to cause physical harm, common assault and damage or destroying property.
“The offender has a long history with criminal matters,” NSW police assistant commissioner Andrew Holland said.
“He has similar incidents relating to violent offences, but he has not breached any of these orders for the past five years.”
