A 69-year-old Aboriginal woman was killed at her home in Spencer Park, WA, on February 8.
Her son is in hospital in a critical condition.
She is the 8th woman killed this year – and the fourth Aboriginal woman lost to violence in 2026. Last year 78 Australian women were killed and 106 women were killed in 2024.
