❤️HER NAME IS ERICA HAY!❤️
It wasn’t enough that he murdered her. He also had go to the shops for beer and petrol afterwards. He had to her home on fire to cover up his crime. And when confronted by authorities he had to paint her as the ‘author of her own misfortune’, while claiming he was a ‘positive influence on her life’.

Her name is Erica Hay. Erica was murdered by her partner Luke Hanif Sekkouah in her home at Warnbro, Western Australia, on April 25, 2024. She was only 30 years old. Her little three-year-old daughter was at home when he killed her.
Erica was the 32nd of 106 women killed in 2024. This is the highest number of femicides I have documented in the past 10-plus years. Since January 1 of that year, we have lost 200 women to violence.

Sekkouah has just been sentenced to a minimum of 24 years in prison, with the judge describing Erica’s last moments alive as terrifying – not only would she have been in fear for herself, she would have been scared for what he might do to her daughter.
The little girl is now five and is deeply impacted by her mum’s death, struggling to sleep, panicking at certain sounds and experiencing deep anxiety.
Erica was a loving mother to all of her four children. She was central to her family and was adored by her friends.
“We’ve got to live without Erica forever and he gets jail,” Erica’s mum told media after he was sentenced.
“He is such a monster.
“No words can describe him and he should never be let back on the streets, not with what he’s done.”
She said Erica was a woman with a “heart of gold, hugs of gold” who would do anything for her children.
“She’ll be always in their heart, always loved,” she said.
