The body of an as-yet unnamed woman was found in her home in Campania, Tasmania, on May 15. She was murdered by her partner. He then ended his own life.
She is the 26th Australian woman killed this year – and the second woman killed this week. Last year we lost 79 women to violence – the year before 106 women were killed.
