Kempsey City Council probably thought we’d forget about Noel Selby’s telling a woman it was a pity a man hadn’t bashed her. But we didn’t. Two months after I exposed the vile misogynist comment directed at a woman on socials, a senior investigator with Centium has sent secret correspondence to complainants saying an investigation is underway!
Selby told a woman ‘pity he hadn’t bashed you’ on a Facebook post about a man accused of multiple murders. She had simply asked about domestic violence allegations.
When questioned by other Facebook users about his comment he dug his heels in and refused to remove it or apologise.
He was contacted by multiple media outlets, telling them he was hacked. I was also contacted by a ‘close’ male friend of Selby who demanded I remove my post, also claiming Selby was hacked.
I made the original post exposing him on April 20. Hundreds of women DMd me to say they had made official complaints but the council management appeared to brush their concerns aside. Now women are sending me the so-called ‘confidential’ confirmations from Centium, which specialises in risk management, corporate governance and internal audits.
