On May 10, a special vigil will be held in Melbourne to commemorate the 127 women killed since January 1, 2024.
It will take place on Mother’s Day Eve. The plan is to light up the She Matters mural with candles and lay hundreds of flowers for the women we have lost in the past 16 months.
This is for the mums who be there on Mother’s Day to celebrate with their children and for the daughters who won’t be there on Mother’s Day to celebrate their mums.

WHERE: The She Matters Mural, Hosier Lane, Melbourne (across from the Ian Potter section of Fed Square).
BRING: Flowers, electric candles and something to sit on.
