The Unnamed Woman is an exclusive artwork by Australian artist, anti-violence advocate and author Amani Haydar. This image is used in The RED HEART Campaign’s Memorial to Women and Children to represent unidentified Australian women lost to violence. In Australia, a woman is killed every four days and a child every four weeks. Almost all of their lives are erased by violent men and as a result of domestic violence. Australian Femicide Watch and The RED HEART Campaign document every woman and child killed in Australia.
