Australian Femicide Watch founder Sherele Moody provides pro bono training for journalists wanting to improve how they report on violence against women and children.

Sherele is a journalist with decades of experience working across print and digital platforms. She specialises in social justice journalism and has a background in crime and court reporting.

When a woman or child is killed, the media becomes a crucial – and often unwanted – aspect of a person’s trauma journey.

Journalists who understands the unique needs of families impacted by violence will produce stories that do not add to the stress and trauma these people are already enduring.

Training can be provided on-site at the media outlet’s cost or can be provided pro bono online.
