SHE MATTERS: CRYSTAL BEALE

❤️SHE MATTERS: CRYSTAL BEALE❤️

‘I have never known someone so beautiful.’
Right now, there’s a young woman and lad in tremendous pain and grief.
Their incredible mum Crystal Beale was killed just two weeks ago.
Her body was found in the Brisbane River at Yeronga in Queensland on February 22.
Police are now treating her death as a homicide. No one is charged.
Crystal is the 14th Australian woman killed in 2025 and the 117th woman lost to violence since January 1, 2024.
Originally told by police Crystal’s death was not suspicious, her family is now awaiting the outcome of a murder investigation to know exactly what happened to the 49-year-old.
Crystal’s daughter Charlie told me a few moments ago about her mum.
She was a real powerhouse of a human, a talented artist who worked in hospo for many years but who was forging a new path as a painter and writer.
“My mum was genuinely so unique, so smart and creative,” Charlie said.
“She constantly put herself out for others and was the light of my life.
“I had never known someone so beautiful.
“She is everything to me, always has and always will be.
“She is loved and missed by so many.”
Just typing Charlie’s words has me crying. How many more amazing and beautiful women do we have to lose before there is real action in Australia.
Someone made the choice to end Crystal’s life – and in doing so they also destroyed the lives of everyone who loves her.
Another woman lost. Another child grieving. Another family torn asunder. Another community struggling. Another day of silence from our leaders on the femicide epidemic.
REST IN POWER CRYSTAL BEALE ❤️
