Justine (Jussy) Hammond was just days away from turning 43 when her partner allegedly ended her life. Justine was killed at Nashdale, near Orange in NSW, on February 9.
Justine is the 10th of 11 Australian women killed this year.
Her partner is charged with a raft of offences including breaching an AVO (domestic violence) and negligent driving occasioning death.
Sources close to the case have confirmed this was a deliberate attempted murder-suicide. It’s alleged he drove a vehicle off the road into an embankment and then into a tree.
It’s not know if the charges will be upgraded.
Justine was mum to two daughters and an adored integral member of a close and supportive family.
