Police have launched a homicide investigation into the death of 42-year-old Katherine Sanowski. Katherine died at a Bellbird Park, Qld, property about two weeks before she was found by police on February 18. A 34-year-old person was located nearby and taken to hospital where they remain under police guard. Katherine is the 11th Australian woman killed this year. Last year we lost 78 women and 106 were killed in 2024.
