❤️THEY MATTER: NORMA DIANA DUTTON & CLIVE WILLIAM MILLERS!❤️
Norma Dutton and her brother Clive Millers had every right to live their twilight years in peace and safety.
They had every right to live.
On Monday, their male carer drove the vehicle they were all in into a tree at Brooloo, Queensland.
The car exploded. Norma and Clive died.
He survived and was taken to the hospital. He has been charged with their manslaughter.
Norma, 85, is the 30th Australian woman killed this year and the 133rd woman lost to violence since January 1, 2024.
Police have confirmed this was a deliberate act and yet he has not been charged with murder.
Disturbingly, most men charged over the killing of women with vehicles plead down to dangerous driving causing death. I hope this does not happen in Norma and Clive’s case.
Norma and Clive were well-regarded residents of Gympie – they were respected, community-focused and caring humans.
Norma’s mate and neighbour said: “We couldn’t have asked for better. She was just a beautiful lady who was there for everybody.”
Another friend told the media: “She was adorable, very loving, a very caring person, and very active.”
REST IN POWER NORMA DIANA DUTTON & CLIVE MILLERS! ❤️
