SHE MATTERS: THI KIM TRAN

❤️SHE MATTERS: THI KIM TRAN❤️

They broke into her home, bashed her eight-year-old son, stripped her naked, forced her out the door at gunpoint, put her into a car, drove her to Beverly Hills and set her on fire.
And yet … people are blaming HER for everything THEY did.
Thi Kim Tran was murdered on Thursday. The five men behind Tran’s death have not been caught. Tran is the 20th Australian woman killed in 2025 & the 123rd killed since January 1 last year.
Her little boy remains in a coma. Her other son saw all of this unfold.
Tran’s husband was away on business. He and Tran’s children are under police guard.
It’s believed 45-year-old Tran was murdered as payback over a drug situation for which she had no role in or knowledge of.
In other words, violent thugs targeted a woman and children to seek revenge. Women and children are always collateral damage in wars – be they over drugs, religion or borders.
On social media and across digital news sites, armchair warriors are blaming Tran for her own murder.
One so-called anti-violence campaigner said she was asking for it. I’d like to know, under what circumstances would this person accept being killed?
Traditional media and social media companies don’t have to monitor the comments focused on dead victims because … well … dead women can’t sue and their families cannot sue on their behalf.
Now her children and husband face ongoing trauma and deep abiding loss; her extended family, who live in Vietnam, must pick up the pieces from afar; and her friends have to find ways to navigate the world without her in it.
“You leave us with grief,” her good mate wrote on social media.
“If one day your best friend leaves you forever, you will cry.”
REST IN POWER THI KIM TRAN! ❤️
