An unnamed 27-year-old woman was killed in Ludmilla, Northern Territory on December 27 after driver ran her over and failed to stop or get medical care for her.
A 61-year-old man was charged with hit and run cause death two days later.
She is the 11th woman killed in December, the 74th Australian woman killed this year and the 179th woman killed since January 1 of 2024.
I will update this post when I have more information about the victim.
