An unnamed 79-year-old woman was killed by her husband in her home at Miami, Queensland on February 6, 2025.
After ending the woman’s life, he killed himself.
She is the 75th Australian woman killed this year and the 180th woman killed since January 1 of 2024.
I will update this post when I have more information about the victim.
A source close to the investigation confirmed the woman had dementia and suggestions she made a decision to die are unfounded.
