Another woman killed. Another name unknown. Another story hidden.
I hate so much that I cannot tell you anything more than her age, the location of her murder and who is charged.
On January 25, an unnamed 77-year-old unnamed woman was murdered in her home at Wollert, Victoria.
Her husband Dimitrakis Loucas has been charged over her death.
She is the 5th of six Australian women killed this year. Last year we lost 77 women to violence and we lost 105 women in 2024.
Her husband has Alzheimer’s disease and this is likely to impact the outcome of legal proceedings moving forward.
Regardless, she deserved to live the sunset of her life in peace and safety.
