❤️SHE MATTERS: UNNAMED WOMAN ❤️
She was coming home from holidays when a man ended her life.
She did not know him. He did not know her.
He was on a suicide mission.
He also killed the 81-year-old woman’s daughter and the man who was driving their taxi.
Police have confirmed the man who killed these three people made a deliberate choice to drive dangerously toward another vehicle on the Leach Hwy at Cloverdale, WA, on January 13.
Police have confirmed a murder-suicide investigation.
She is the 3rd Australian woman killed in 2025 – her daughter is the second Australian woman killed.
Since their deaths, we have lost four more women to violence. The 2025 killed women toll is now seven.
It’s disheartening to be unable to tell you anything about this victim. And it is made even worse by the media going out of their way to identify the killer and to write sympathetic stories about him – another familiar story and one that’s unlikely to change.
The killing of Australian women is an epidemic. In the past 57 weeks, we’ve lost 108 women to violence. That’s about 2 women killed (on average) each week.
I’ve spent three weeks trying to confirm this woman’s and her daughter’s identity, but it’s been to no avail. If you are able to provide more information, please email sherele@AustralianFemicideWatch.org
