SHE MATTERS: ZOE WALKER

❤️SHE MATTERS: ZOE WALKER!❤️

Business owner Zoe Walker was tenacious with a will to succeed in an industry dominated by men. She was also a much-loved woman who adored her family and lived her life to the fullest.
On Sunday, the 38-year-old’s body was found in her home at Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria.
Her partner Daniel Horanyi, 46, is charged with her murder.
Zoe is the 43rd Australian woman killed this year and the 147th woman lost to violence since January 1, 2024.
Zoe ran a business providing painting services. She was proud of her career and her achievements, including buying her own home.
“She was a pioneer in her field,” Zoe’s dad told a media outlet.
“She struggled on in her trade, which is hard for women to be in.
“Every job, even the ones she wasn’t familiar with, she had to prove herself, whereas other males didn’t have too and she had to struggle, but she did it.
“She worked every day to pay her mortgage.”
Zoe’s little brother Tyson died about nine years ago. There’s just no words for this relentless march of violence and the incredible women we are losing to it.
