One Nation leader Pauline Hanson continues to stand-by her decision to personally approve the employment of domestic violence rapist Sean Black.
She also indicated she would not have his name on a sex offender register.
She made the comments in multiple interviews this past week after wide-spread outrage over Black’s continued employment with the party. She claims no one complained to her about her decision, completely disregarding all the public anger.
In true Hanson fashion, she labeled the outrage as a ‘witch hunt’, conveniently forgetting the historical term witch hunt was how the world once labelled the slaughter of women who did not comply with societal norms.
The only thing slaughtered here was Hanson’s ego.

“There are more than 4000 people that are convicted of sexual assault (each year),” she said.
“So what about the other people out there? This just a political bloody witch hunt.”
His employment does raise the issue of how abusers and rapists are treated in society once they leave prison. Of course, they need to earn a living. But putting a rapist into a role such as this is nonsensical.
If Hanson wants to employ a rapist, that’s on her.
But placing him a position of power is reprehensible.
And indicating he should not be on a sex offender register is even worse.
Pauline Hanson’s disregard of women grows daily.
