Russell Brand has always shown us who he is – a powerful man in the entertainment industry who exploits women.
He’s even joked about rape and murder without any qualm of being held to account.
In 2013, interviewer Richard Herring laughed along as Russell Brand said he raped a woman before murdering her.
“I’ve raped someone once – I killed her after,” he says as he laughs on Herring’s Leicester Square Theatre Podcast.
Throughout the video, the audience and Herring laugh along. No one shuts Brand down.

Brand also ‘joked’ that he saw the beauty of adult men going to schools to pick up girls, presumably to violate them.
The video footage was erased in 2023 from SoundCloud and YouTube when allegations around Brand’s treatment of women began to really take hold.
Brand will face trial later this year on a raft of offences.
One of the victims was 16 years old at the time of his attacks.
Brand has been telling media he ‘exploited’ her into consensual sex and that at 16, she was legally old enough, but as a 30-year-old man he was too immature to know better.
The victim has spoken about the so-called ‘exploitation’, saying Brand raped and coercively controlled her.
