She was seen in a shop in Tasmania on March 18. Her body was found on May 16 at her home in New Town, Tasmania. A man known to her was charged with her murder on May 18.

The 61-year-old is the 28th of 29 women killed this year.
“Detectives from South East CIB are continuing to investigate the circumstances around the woman’s death,” Detective Inspector David Gill said.
“As a result of investigations to date, we believe the woman was last alive around March 18.
“As we work to form a timeline, we’re seeking assistance from the public in relation to the woman’s movements prior to when she was located.
“With permission from the family, today we’re releasing images of the woman from 18 March and ask anyone who has seen her since then to contact us.”
Detective Inspector Gill said she was a familiar face in the Glenorchy CBD and New Town areas.
“We’re asking that anyone who has seen her, assisted her, or had interactions with her, to contact us,” he said.
