He allegedly murdered her on Tuesday at Galiwin’ku, Northern Territory.
The teenager is the 16th Australian child killed in 2026. A total of 27 children were killed in 2025.
“There are no words that can ease the pain of losing someone so young,” the Galiwin’ku Women’s Space Aboriginal Corporation said in a post on social media.
“We honour her life, remember her with love and stand alongside her family and our community with compassion, strength and respect.”
