Multiple players from the Sydney Swans AFL team are connected to an alleged sexual assault at the Pullman East Melbourne overnight.
It is not clear how many victims there are or the gender of the person or people attacked.
“The Sydney Swans can confirm several players were involved in an alleged incident in Melbourne last night,” a team spokesperson says.
“The Swans have notified the AFL and relevant authorities and cannot provide further comment at this stage.”
Victoria Police are investigating and no one was charged at the time of writing.
