On Point Entertainment and C Major Official are petitioning to have Chris Brown perform in Australia.
The petition has less than 900 signatures (at the time of writing). The author describes Brown’s violence as ‘incidents’.
Calling what he did to Rihanna in 2009 an incident is disgusting. He brutalised her. Brown pleaded guilty and got probation.
He’s been accused of multiple assaults over the years.
As I write, Australia has lost 54 women to violence this year – 51 were killed by men.
Most of the women were murdered by men known to them with intimate partners and sons the main perpetrators since January 1, 2026.
Allowing a domestic violence perp to perform in Australia is a despicable idea. Abusers should not be rewarded for their violence.
