Sam Wood’s second bail application has failed after a Supreme Court judge heard he strangled Snezana Wood so badly she was unable to talk.
It’s alleged Wood attacked Snezana and it was her daughter who came to the rescue.
Wood tried to have suppression orders in place and the judge is still considering the application.
The prosecutor argued he should stay locked up because the case was strong and the ‘complainant’s evidence doesn’t stand alone’.
As well as a witness, there was evidence of injuries to Snezana that were observed by others and photographed.
