This is Steve, a nine-month-old chihuahua loved by everyone.
Steve’s owner lost him in a domestic violence incident on October 12.
The suspect is in custody but due to the ongoing police investigation the victim is unable to share full details of what happened.
His owner is desperate to find Steve’s remains.
It is believed his body may have been placed inside a green council waste bag and carried in a navy blue Uniqlo bag to Royal Park in Melbourne.
He was only 1.7kgs and could easily be mistaken for a rabbit.
Steve’s owner is asking the public to keep an eye out for him.
