She was seen in a shop in Tasmania on March 18. Her body was found on May 16 at her home in New Town, Tasmania. A man known to her was charged with her murder on May 18.

The 61-year-old is the 28th of 29 women killed this year.
โDetectives from South East CIB are continuing to investigate the circumstances around the womanโs death,” Detective Inspector David Gill said.
โAs a result of investigations to date, we believe the woman was last alive around March 18.
โAs we work to form a timeline, weโre seeking assistance from the public in relation to the womanโs movements prior to when she was located.
โWith permission from the family, today weโre releasing images of the woman from 18 March and ask anyone who has seen her since then to contact us.โ
Detective Inspector Gill said she was a familiar face in the Glenorchy CBD and New Town areas.
“Weโre asking that anyone who has seen her, assisted her, or had interactions with her, to contact us,” he said.
