ABOUT THE ARTIST
Queen Dolly is based on an iconic photograph of Dolly Parton when she was in her 20s. The images is hand-drawn by Tom Soar. Tom is a professional tattoo artist and tattoist, a graffiti writer and a multidisciplinary artist living in the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. His work features bold, colourful designs that aim to make a positive impact.

Dolly Parton is an incredible woman. An icon of music and a hero to billions, Dolly’s free books program has changed literacy rates globally – and more importantly, introduced millions of children to the joys of reading. Dolly survived childhood domestic violence and has endured sexism her entire life. She doesn’t call herself a feminist yet almost everything she does reflects her desire for women and girls to live safely and in peace.
